At Turning Pointe School of Dance, we focus on more than just dance.
We build confidence, discipline, and a love for movement in a positive, encouraging environment.
Our classes are designed to meet dancers where they are and help them grow, whether they’re just starting or continuing their journey.
Throughout the season, dancers have the opportunity to perform in two exciting performances:

Spring Recital (Turning Pointe Presents Cinderella)
Dancers ages 5 and up perform in our beautifully produced storyline recitals, while our Twinkle Star dancers (ages 2–5) shine in their very own special showcase designed just for them.
Twinkle Star Dance Program
Ages 2-5
*Dancer must be 2 before August 1, 2026
Our Twinkle Star Program is designed especially for our youngest dancers. Each class includes ballet, tap, and jazz, along with age-appropriate activities that help dancers feel comfortable in the studio while building confidence and a love for dance.
Twinkle Star dancers perform in two special showcases each season, our Holiday Spectacular Showcase and Spring Showcase. Our 2027 Spring Showcase will match our Spring Storyline Recital theme, which is Cinderella!
Classes are based on the dancer’s age as of August 1, 2026. Each age group wears a different color leotard, helping them match their Twinkle Star “sparkle” bear, connect with their classmates, and feel part of something special.
Our 2–3 year old class requires one season of Mini + Me or a placement class to ensure your dancer is ready for an independent class.
Mini + Me
Ages 2–3
*Dancer must be 2 before August 1, 2026
Mini + Me is a parent or caregiver participation class designed to gently introduce dancers to the classroom setting. A parent or guardian is required to be present and actively participate in each 30 minute class.
Mini + Me dancers do not perform in showcases.
Elementary Levels - Level 3 Classes
(Age 5-18)
Our Elementary and Upper Level classes are designed to build strong foundational technique while fostering a love for movement and self-expression. Dancers develop skills in proper form, musicality, and performance quality while gaining confidence, discipline, and a deeper understanding of dance as an art form.
We offer a variety of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, Acrobatic Arts, and pointe, allowing dancers to grow into well-rounded performers.
Dancers are placed in classes based on their age as of August 1, 2026.
As students progress through each level, our experienced instructors provide a nurturing and structured environment that supports growth both in and out of the studio.
Dancers ages 10 and up with prior ballet experience, as well as all dancers ages 13 and up, are required to attend a placement class to ensure proper level placement. Please contact the studio to schedule an evaluation.
Performing Arts Company
PAC offers dancers a well-rounded performing arts experience in a positive and supportive environment, with opportunities to grow in technique, confidence, and artistry while performing throughout the season.
Designed for dedicated dancers seeking advanced performance opportunities, the Performing Arts Company includes a year-long commitment with weekly classes, rehearsals, and additional seasonal training. PAC dancers play an important role in bringing each production to life through storytelling, performance, and character development.
Membership in PAC is by audition and invitation only. Dancers are hand-selected based on their technical ability, performance quality, commitment, work ethic, and readiness for the demands of the program.
Please note: Dancers must be en pointe to be considered for PAC.
